Rental Policies

These are important notes regarding kimono rental and dressing services. Please ensure you read and confirm the details before submitting your booking request.
 

The kimono rental includes all necessary items for dressing, excluding undergarments (hadagi) and tabi. Please bring your own hadagi and tabi or tabi socks. If you contact us in advance, tabi /tabi socks can be purchased depending on the size (Tabi: $20, Tabi socks: $10).

The rental period is typically one full day, so we kindly ask that you return the items by the following day. Please note that late returns may incur an additional extension fee.

For on-site kimono dressing services, a travel fee of $30 or more will apply depending on the location (distance). Additionally, reservations made before 9:00 AM or after 6:00 PM will incur an early morning/after-hours surcharge of $20.

To prevent staining the kimono with hairspray or hair styling products, please ensure your hair is styled before the dressing session. We also ask that you refrain from using strong fragrances or perfumes, as the scent may not be removable through cleaning.

Please take extra care to avoid damaging or soiling the kimono with accessories, bags, door handles, during vehicle entry/exit, or when using the restroom.

If the kimono is damaged or stained during use, please report it to us promptly. Silk kimonos (made of genuine silk) cannot be repaired or cleaned locally and must be sent to Japan for professional repairs, cleaning, or stain removal by specialized services. In such cases, the associated costs (which is approximately $300) will be
the customer’s responsibility.
