About  "Boston Kimono Academy" in Boston, MA,USA

 

Now there is a branch school of the "The Cultural Foundation for Promoting the National Costume of Japan " located in Boston, USA. The elegant Japanese Kimono dates back more than two thousand years, and though rarely worn daily is still important in festivals and formal occasions, and is representative of Japanese culture, politeness,formality and beauty.

 

In the Boston school, you will learn how to dress in the Kimono properly and comfortably by yourself, as well as you will be dressed up in your kimono by the professionals. The school also can rent several variety of kimonos

obi-makura $10,naga-jyuban $70, himo $10, hadagi $30,
